How To Dress For Summer

Summer is right upon us, and that’s a great thing. We can finally put sweaters and ankle boots back in the closet (well, don’t know about the ankle boots) and dust off our flip flops? What things scream summer?

Florals really start gaining momentum in the spring, but a lot of times, they come full force in the summer. Why? Well, everything is in full bloom. So wearing florals is really reflective of the change in season.

To me, the acid-was is a pastel in denim form. Pastels are another thing that become really popular during the summer months. Fall and winter are bursting with bold, usually dark colors. So, it’s great to go the complete opposite direction

Lace is just looks and feels light. If you’re a little more modest, and aren’t really comfortable with just going out in a tank top, a lace cover up is a good way to go. Because it’s light and breathes really well, lace is something that you can wear without over heating.

Reality TV, a not -so-small sweet tooth, nail polish, and fashion are but a few of her guilty pleasures. Her obsession with writing and hobby of interviewing brought her to conducting a few interviews with fashion designers and makeup artists for her fashion blog, Hey There, Stylish! Curiosity for different lifestyles and experiences lead to more interviews and ultimately became Gal Pal Magazine. Like many college girls, Lauren is a media strategies major who spends her days going to class; most of her late nights are reserved for studying and her night job.
