How Tot Get a Salon-Style Conditioning in Your Shower

Long time, no see! I Hope everyone’s holiday was amazing. I really hope that all of you get the hair of your dreams with these beauty tips (taken from my personal stylist). If you want salon chic hair, do what the professionals do. P.S. If you want to know what products I use, leave a comment!

Step One: Shampoo
It’s a great idea to do this in the shower. By tilting your head back towards the running water, all of your hair is going in one direction (avoiding painful tangles). For distribution  if simply finger comb the lather through your strands. Pay special attention to roots and tips.

Step Two: Deep Conditioning
After shampooing and rinsing, apply a generous amount of conditioner to your hair. Slathering conditioner onto your hair and using a shower comb to evenly distribute it is a good way to go. The wide teeth make minimize breakage and evenly distribute the conditioner through your hair.
Step Three: Blow Dry
Apply a shower cap to your wet, conditioned hair. This may sound a little weird, but it does work wonders. Blow dry your hair (yes, with the shower cap) for about fifteen minutes. Your blow dryer should be on a warm or moderate setting because you’re not trying to dry your hair at this point.
Step Four: Rinse.
Okay, take off that itchy thing and thoroughly rinse out the conditioner.
Step Five: Style
Finally, blow dry and style your hair as usual. Put your blow dryer on a cool setting to avoid excess heat on your hair. It’s lethal to healthy tresses. Before blow drying, I recommend lubricating your hair with either a hair oil or some other type of protective product  to help minimize heat damage.
Tips and Warnings:

I do have relaxed hair, so the tips listed here may be best suited for the relaxed gal. Do ask your personal stylist about home maintenance

Reality TV, a not -so-small sweet tooth, nail polish, and fashion are but a few of her guilty pleasures. Her obsession with writing and hobby of interviewing brought her to conducting a few interviews with fashion designers and makeup artists for her fashion blog, Hey There, Stylish! Curiosity for different lifestyles and experiences lead to more interviews and ultimately became Gal Pal Magazine.
