Call Me MIMI

Confession time (again). I have really been looking for an excuse to feature these thigh highs on this blog. I finally think that I have the perfect outfits to rock these with. Below is my mad scientist creation of the day for VienneMilano’s MIMI.

These sequin cuffed shortsare totally lucnhable, and were the perfect fit for the embellished cardigan jacket. This cardigan is extremely cute and can be worn with a variety of different outfits. Of course, the star of the show, a chic pair of thigh highs under the shorts really adds a flair to this outfit. I found the wedge sneaker to be a drumbroll finish to this ensemble.

Leather and studs are growing in popularity. So, studded faux leather shorts seemed like a nice staple for this season. The necklace tee is a really nice color, and has built-in accessories. The ballet ballet flat are a nice compliment for the top.

Note that high waist shorts  are  best for builds that aren’t short-waisted. Tall, slender builds look great in high-waist styles, even petite figures can wear them nicely. You just want to make sure that the waist doesn’t sit right under the bust line. A relaxed long sleeve top makes this look extra casual, but it can be jazzed up with a few accessories like the butterfly necklace and braided charm bracelet by Hayley M.

This girl’s sharp, quick wit may not be for the faint of heart, but those close to her say that she’s caring and hilariously funny. Reality TV, a not -so-small sweet tooth, nail polish, and fashion are but a few of her guilty pleasures. Her obsession with writing and hobby of interviewing brought her to conducting a few interviews with fashion designers and makeup artists for her fashion blog, Hey There, Stylish! Curiosity for different lifestyles and experiences lead to more interviews and ultimately became Gal Pal Magazine. Like many college girls, Lauren is a media strategies major who spends her days going to class; most of her late nights are reserved for studying and her night job.
